Psychology and Education @St. Thomas

Social Sciences Librarian
Charles J. Keffer Library, MOH
1000 La Salle Ave.
Minneapolis, MN 55403-2009
I love talking with people, drinking coffee, and making warm and interesting textiles. In the library, it’s nice to see folks come to me confused, worried or panicky about papers or presentations and leave confidently, focused with a clear mind, and a plan for research and writing…

Before becoming a librarian, I was an American Sign Language – English interpreter for 20 years. I have my BA in linguistics, and worked for 4 years on my PhD in Brain and Cognitive Sciences before realizing that the library was my true love. (I did love my studies, though, in language acquisition by deaf children and sentence processing by hearing and Deaf people.)
